Trying to build the target application and a validation issue stated that I had attributes of the same name in Bravo, but they were both different (Banana and Broccoli)

It looks like your diagram has gotten out of sync. I will forward this issue to the Platform team to look into why it happened, but in the meantime let’s unblock you. To reset your view, you can try either a hard refresh, opening your app in a different browser, or logging out and back in again. From there you should be able to see the duplicated element and remove it.
